Head of Software Development Engineer in Test
Job Summary
A company in the Financial industry is looking for a Head of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead their software quality assurance engineering efforts.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee all application quality assurance efforts, including mobile, web, frontend, 3rd party solutions
- Develop complex API, web and mobile based applications testing practice that reference database back-end systems
- Define and monitor quality metrics, quality methodology, quality reporting, test architecture, and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education or experience
- 10+ years of experience in Testing and Software Quality Assurance preferably in either a Software Development Engineer or (SDET) Software Development Engineer in Test role
- 5+ years of experience leading teams including both Manual and Automation, 3+ years leading globally distributed teams
- Knowledge and experience within financial services, payments or banking industry is required
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
