Head of Strategic Sourcing
Job Summary
To build a new division focused on reducing clients' Cost of Goods, the full-time Head of Strategic Sourcing will analyze procurement structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate with manufacturers while working remotely from any location.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze current COGS and procurement structures to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Negotiate with manufacturers and benchmark alternative suppliers to improve payment terms and reduce risks
- Develop GNO's methodology, systems, and SOPs while eventually recruiting and managing a team
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in China/Asia manufacturing and OEM/ODM products
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
- Expertise in cost reduction and should-cost analysis
- Experience with RFQs, supplier development, and value engineering
- Background in Amazon aggregators, sourcing companies, or large consumer-product businesses
