Head of Strategy and Operations

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic team remotely, the full-time Head of Strategy and Operations will define strategic direction, manage operational infrastructure, and drive cross-functional initiatives to support the company's growth in the commercial insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the company's annual and quarterly planning processes, translating long-range vision into concrete priorities and resource allocation decisions
• Own the operating rhythm at scale, including leadership cadences, business reviews, and board preparation
• Lead high-priority, company-level initiatives that span multiple functions, ensuring alignment and accountability across the organization

Required Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or a GM-type role
• Proven ability to operate across the full strategy-to-execution arc, with experience in building teams and processes
• Strong analytical skills, including fluency in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making
• Experience leading and developing teams of 10-20+ people across multiple functions
• Exceptional written communication skills and executive presence for board presentations and decision-making
