Head of Third Party Resilience

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and governance of third party operational resilience, the full-time Head of Third Party Resilience will ensure critical external service providers can prevent, withstand, and recover from disruptions while collaborating with various teams to embed resilience requirements throughout the third party lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the Third Party Resilience Framework, policies, and standards in alignment with regulatory guidance
• Establish governance structures for overseeing third party resilience risks and deliver reporting to executive leadership
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contingency strategies for critical third party services align with resilience expectations

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in operational resilience, third party risk management, or enterprise risk management, preferably in a regulated financial institution
• Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations related to operational resilience and third party oversight
• Proven experience in designing and governing enterprise-level risk or resilience programs
• Demonstrated ability to engage with senior executives, regulators, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong leadership and influence skills to translate complex risk concepts into actionable guidance
