Health Advocate
Job Summary
To support the Healthy Outcomes Team, the full-time Health Advocate will engage with Medicare members through inbound and outbound calls to promote healthy behaviors, assist with health services, and ensure members understand their benefits, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to members and providers to facilitate healthcare services, screenings, and medication refills
- Overcome barriers to health by providing education and support to members during conversations
- Document interactions accurately in members' health records to maintain up-to-date information
Required qualifications
- Proficiency with Windows-based applications and high computer literacy
- Strong active listening and interpersonal skills
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable remote workspace
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Experience in a call center or outreach environment is preferred
