Job Summary
Interacting telephonically with members, the full-time Health Advocate will assist the Medicare population in understanding their benefits and completing important health screenings and activities while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to members and providers to facilitate healthcare services, screenings, and medication refills
- Address barriers to members' health and deliver empathetic, professional conversations to enhance the member experience
- Educate members on health decisions and accurately document interactions in health records
Required qualifications
- High computer literacy with troubleshooting abilities
- Proficiency in Windows, web-based applications, and digital communication tools
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and suitable remote workspace
- Hard wired connectivity to the computer is required
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
