Health and Wellness Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To support a growing Health and Wellness program, part-time Adjunct Faculty will teach up to 3 courses per term in a remote setting, providing quality educational experiences to adult learners while maintaining a student-centered learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in synchronous or asynchronous seminars and maintain virtual office hours for student support
• Engage students in discussions, manage electronic correspondence, and enforce student conduct policies
• Participate in professional development and attend faculty meetings as required

Required qualifications

• Relevant Master's Degree or a Master's Degree with 3 years of applicable professional experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience, including 1-3 years of online teaching experience in higher education
• Health coaching experience and a professional credential are preferred
• Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications, and Zoom
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision
