Job Summary
To support a growing network of health and wellness services, the part-time Health Coach (NBC-HWC Certified) will lead one-on-one video coaching sessions, maintain proactive communication through asynchronous messaging, and engage members with personalized strategies for fitness, nutrition, and overall well-being in a remote contract position.
Key responsibilities
- Lead live video coaching sessions that integrate behavior change guidance with support for movement, stress, sleep, and nutrition
- Maintain structured communication through in-app messaging to encourage member progress and address barriers
- Interpret biometric data to provide personalized coaching insights and adapt member plans based on real-time feedback
Required qualifications
- Professional coaching credential: NBC-HWC (or exam-enrolled)
- Fitness or nutrition certification: CPT (ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent
- At least one year of virtual coaching experience with live video and asynchronous messaging
- Skill in managing a caseload and maintaining proactive engagement with clients
- Comfort interpreting wearable device data such as HR, HRV, and sleep metrics
