Job Summary
To support public health initiatives, the full-time Health Communications Specialist will independently lead the development of complex health-policy and communications products, translating intricate information into clear messages for diverse audiences while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of health-policy and communications products involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Translate complex public health and policy information into clear, audience-appropriate messages
- Analyze program information to identify communication gaps and recommend strategies for improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public health, health administration, or a related field
- At least nine years of experience in health communications, technical writing, or related fields
- Experience independently leading complex communications assignments with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to complete a federal Position of Public Trust Level 5 background investigation if required
