Job Summary
To support a growing wellness initiative, the part-time hourly Health Educator in Training will review biometric screening results, deliver health education on lifestyle factors, and maintain accurate records of sessions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review biometric screening results with participants and provide health education on lifestyle factors affecting health indicators
- Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions and report on outcomes
- Collaborate with fellow Health Educators to enhance coaching effectiveness and member outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (master's degree preferred)
- Trained in coaching competencies, theories, and methodologies
- Experience with clinical health education, including weight loss management and nutrition
- Understanding of biometric results such as blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol
- Preferred bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
