Health Informatics Analyst
Job Summary
Leveraging data and informatics expertise, the full-time remote Health Informatics Analyst will analyze clinical, financial, and operational information to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making and improve patient and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and document complex healthcare claims and authorizations data sets to identify patterns and trends
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure proper data collection and organization for analysis
- Interpret results and present data to drive insightful decisions for leaders at all levels of the organization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related area, or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of work experience in healthcare analytics
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
- Knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures, drug pricing, and claims processing
- Familiarity with drug coding systems (NDC) and medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS)
