Job Summary
Analyzing medical records for compliance and completeness, the full-time Health Information Analyst will review electronic health records, identify documentation deficiencies, and ensure timely coding while working four days remotely and one day onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzes medical records to ensure compliance with entity and regulatory standards
- Identifies documentation deficiencies and ensures accurate assignment of physician auto-populated deficiencies
- Performs follow-up procedures on coding work queues to ensure timely record coding
Required qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of relevant work experience
- Two years of experience in health information management or a related field
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently
- Frequent use of vision and hearing for communication and information processing
- No specific professional license or certification required
