Health Information Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance health information management processes, the full-time salaried HIM Protected Health Info Specialist will manage protected health information and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain protected health information in accordance with regulatory standards
- Ensure compliance with health information management policies and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support data integrity and patient confidentiality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field
- Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Experience in health information management or a related area
