Health Systems Analyst
Job Summary
Providing expert-level guidance and analysis, the full-time Senior Health Systems Analyst will evaluate and optimize business and clinical processes within the Veterans Health Administration, focusing on workflow redesign and operational improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the analysis, design, development, and implementation of business processes within the VHA
- Conduct assessments of current operations and define future state concepts to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Collaborate with VHA leadership to ensure process improvement initiatives align with operational and clinical requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Health Systems Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field
- Minimum ten years of experience in a large-scale government integrated healthcare system, with a focus on Veterans healthcare programs
- Proven expertise in analyzing and implementing healthcare business processes
- Extensive experience with VHA Medical Center operations and knowledge of VISN structures
- Strong understanding of clinical and administrative processes within the VHA
