Health Systems Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support health systems work in Tanzania, the full-time Health Systems Data Analyst will manage, integrate, analyze, and visualize data for planning and performance management while collaborating with government and project teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile, clean, link, and maintain health data for analysis and decision-making
• Conduct quantitative analyses to identify trends and resource-use patterns in health systems
• Develop dashboards and analytical products that translate complex data into actionable insights

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as statistics, epidemiology, or public health
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in health data management or quantitative analysis
• Demonstrated experience with health-system data and familiarity with Tanzania health information systems
• Strong skills in data cleaning, statistical analysis, and visualization
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in Kiswahili is highly desirable
