Health Systems Data Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting health systems initiatives in Tanzania, the full-time Health Systems Data Analyst will manage, analyze, and visualize data to inform planning and resource allocation, while collaborating with government and project teams in a hybrid work environment that includes both remote and in-office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile, clean, and maintain data from various health information systems for analysis
• Conduct quantitative analyses to identify trends, gaps, and resource-use patterns in health systems
• Develop analytical products such as dashboards and briefs to support decision-making for government and project teams

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as statistics, public health, or data science
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in health data management and quantitative analysis
• Demonstrated experience with health-system data and familiarity with Tanzania health information systems
• Strong skills in data cleaning, statistical analysis, and visualization; GIS/mapping experience is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in Kiswahili is highly desirable
