Health Systems Data Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting health systems initiatives in Tanzania, the full-time Health Systems Data Analyst will manage, integrate, analyze, and visualize data for planning and performance management while collaborating with government and project teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile, clean, link, and maintain data from various health information systems for analysis
• Conduct quantitative analyses to identify trends, gaps, and resource-use patterns within health systems
• Develop dashboards and analytical products that translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-makers

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent in statistics, epidemiology, health informatics, or a related quantitative field
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in health data management and quantitative analysis
• Demonstrated experience with health-system data, particularly in planning and budgeting datasets
• Experience using Tanzanian health information systems, such as DHIS2 or similar platforms
• Strong skills in data cleaning, statistical analysis, and developing decision-support products for diverse audiences
