Healthcare Analyst Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a clinical healthcare data team, the contract Healthcare Analyst Engineer will design and implement enhancements to a clinical analytics platform, focusing on metadata propagation across OMOP tables and establishing scalable implementation patterns.
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and incorporate source metadata across applicable OMOP domains and tables
- Implement SQL and data pipeline changes to add new fields to OMOP tables through phased rollouts
- Define and document reusable implementation patterns for future framework enhancements and new data domains
Required qualifications:
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in BigQuery
- Experience with the OMOP Common Data Model (CDM) and schema changes across clinical data domains
- Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools for pipeline development
- Experience working in a GCP-based data and analytics environment
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent data/table rollouts in an Agile environment
