Healthcare Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
To support the expanding Analytics team, the full-time Healthcare Analytics Engineer will design, model, and maintain analytics infrastructure, transforming complex healthcare data into actionable insights for operational and clinical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain production-ready data models and semantic layers using advanced SQL for enterprise reporting
- Ingest and blend diverse healthcare datasets, including payer claims and EMR data, to create centralized analytical datasets
- Execute ad-hoc SQL queries and analyses to address operational, clinical, and financial questions across business units
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Healthcare Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or Business Intelligence within a healthcare environment
- Strong experience with payer claims data and EMR/clinical data
- Expert-level SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize data transformation routines
- Familiarity with analytics engineering tools and workflows, such as dbt, Python, and cloud data warehouses
