Healthcare Application Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the administration and support of enterprise-wide provider credentialing and payer enrollment software applications, the full-time remote Healthcare Application Manager will ensure optimal performance, drive innovation, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while leading a dedicated IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and ongoing maintenance of provider credentialing and payer enrollment applications
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Develop and implement data-driven performance metrics to enhance the quality and efficiency of the credentialing process

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Information Management, or a related field
• Five years of relevant experience in healthcare applications, provider data, or credentialing systems
• Experience in an academic medical center, healthcare system, or higher education is preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission and CMS is preferred
• Experience with project management and relational database management is preferred
