Healthcare Associate
Job Summary
Owning the authorization lifecycle, the full-time Healthcare Associate will submit and track authorization requests, manage payer follow-ups, and support peer-to-peer reviews while working remotely on a fixed schedule from 9 PM to 6 AM PHT.
Key responsibilities
- Submit authorization requests through various channels and track them to resolution
- Manage a high-volume workload, ensuring timely follow-ups and documentation accuracy
- Assist healthcare professionals and insurance members with authorization-related inquiries
Required qualifications
- Experience in prior authorization within a healthcare BPO, hospital, clinic, payer-services team, or revenue cycle department
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and payer portals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of required HIPAA and security training
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
