Healthcare Claims Supervisor
Job Summary
To support the World Trade Center Health Program, the full-time remote Healthcare Claims Supervisor will provide supervisory oversight and technical leadership for a growing healthcare claims processing team, focusing on claims quality, productivity, and operational readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a team of healthcare claims staff, ensuring timely completion of claims processing activities
- Provide technical oversight for the end-to-end healthcare claims lifecycle, resolving complex claims issues and ensuring compliance with program requirements
- Support the implementation of new healthcare claims operations and major program changes, including workflow design and operational readiness reviews
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare claims processing, adjudication, or related operations
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare claims environment
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare claims lifecycle, including coordination of benefits and claims adjudication
- Experience with new program implementations and claims system upgrades
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is required
