Healthcare Data Analyst

Job Summary

Owning encounter operations and stakeholder management for a portfolio of Medicaid and Medicare Advantage clients, the full-time Healthcare Data Analyst will manage the end-to-end encounter workflow, gather requirements, and facilitate collaboration between clients, business teams, and engineers in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage encounter-management responsibilities for approximately 6-8 clients, ensuring effective workflow and collaboration
• Generate and submit 837 healthcare encounter files to client destinations while tracking response files
• Triage and coordinate remediation of rejections with engineering and internal teams, reporting on performance and SLA metrics

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL for supporting various Business and Data Operations
• Demonstrated data-analysis skills using Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, or comparable tools
• Experience in structured problem-solving and process management; Six Sigma, Scrum, or Kanban certification preferred
• Strong stakeholder and client-management skills across technical and nontechnical audiences
• Mid-level experience in healthcare, Medicaid, encounters, EDI, or related payer/health-plan environments
