Healthcare Data Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Healthcare Data Analyst, this full-time remote position will develop and maintain analytics tools to enhance understanding of health outcomes and medication use, collaborating with clinical research, product, and technology teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain healthcare analytics tools to improve health plan members' use of medical services and prescription medications
- Develop and enhance digital health tools that provide real-time clinical insights to physicians at the point of care
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for automation and AI using large healthcare datasets
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a healthcare data analyst at a health plan
- Deep understanding of medical and pharmacy claims data, including claim-line-level analysis
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, and/or comparable analytics tools
- Familiarity with coding systems such as Medi-Span or First Databank, HCPCS, and CPT
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
