Job Summary
To support healthcare-related provider payment transformation engagements, the full-time remote Healthcare Data Analyst will analyze large datasets, design data models, and assist with Medicaid policy research and analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzing healthcare data, including claims datasets, service-related trend data, and provider cost data
- Designing, developing, and using data models while reviewing and summarizing model outputs
- Assisting with Medicaid policy research and drafting technical documentation and client reports
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing large data sets
- Proficiency in database management and statistical programming tools, including SAS, SQL, or Python
- Experience in a healthcare-related field, specifically analyzing Medicaid claims
- Strong problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting code and resolving issues independently
