Healthcare Data Scientist

Job Summary

To enhance client reporting quality and credibility, the contract Data Scientist, Healthcare Economics and Value-Based Care will work remotely to design analytics, build measurement methodologies, and produce trustworthy reports for client audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve analytics for client reporting, focusing on cost trends, utilization, and program impact
• Build and validate measurement methodologies, including risk adjustment and attribution logic
• Collaborate with client-facing teams to create understandable and trustworthy reports based on analytic outputs

Required qualifications

• 5 or more years of analytics or data science experience in healthcare, particularly in healthcare economics or value-based care
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data analysis and modeling
• Familiarity with medical and pharmacy claims data and common data quality issues
• Ability to communicate methodology and findings to non-technical audiences
