Healthcare Finance Executive
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Part-Time Healthcare Finance Executive, the fractional contract position will focus on guiding financial strategy, payer economics, and budgeting for a virtual physical therapy startup, working remotely for 10-20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategy and growth plans in partnership with the executive team
- Analyze national and regional payer contracts, and support negotiation strategies to optimize financial performance
- Own the financial forecasting and budgeting processes, providing insights into trends, risks, and opportunities
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare finance, particularly in healthcare services or technology
- Proven experience with national health plans and payer contracting
- Direct experience within an MSO/PC healthcare model is required
- Strong skills in financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
- Experience with value-based care and alternative payment models is preferred
