Healthcare Fraud Data Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Data Analyst (Healthcare Fraud) will develop and maintain fraud detection algorithms, analyze healthcare claims data for anomalies, and produce actionable insights to enhance fraud prevention efforts.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and document fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) business rules and risk-scoring methodologies
- Analyze healthcare claims and enrollment data to identify fraud schemes and investigative leads
- Support Palantir platform operations, including analytics development and data integration for the War Room
Required qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in federal healthcare data analytics and fraud detection
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data analytics platforms
- Experience with healthcare claims data and handling sensitive PHI under HIPAA
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology or Data Science
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and VA PIV card
