Healthcare IT Implementation Specialist
Job Summary
Owning the technical delivery of the enterprise imaging platform at new customer sites, the full-time Healthcare IT Implementation Specialist will install and configure Connect and ImageX, build DICOM, HL7, and FHIR interfaces, and guide customers through configuration, testing, and go-live processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, and migrate ImageX across customer environments while ensuring compliance with Medicom infrastructure requirements
- Build, map, and troubleshoot HL7 v2, FHIR, and SSO integrations, coordinating with customer EHR and IT teams
- Lead technical kickoffs, installations, and customer training sessions with various technical stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of healthcare IT experience with hands-on responsibility for PACS, VNA, RIS, EHR, or related imaging systems
- 2+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting DICOM and HL7 v2 interfaces
- Strong Windows Server and network troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of firewalls and VPNs
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent customer engagements effectively
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and handling protected health information
