Job Summary
Managing the operational performance of the Healthcare POD, the full-time remote Healthcare IT Program Manager will oversee a team of technical professionals, ensuring SLA/KPI attainment, leading EMR-related incident escalations, and maintaining communication with clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly manage the delivery team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Own SLA/KPI attainment, focusing on EMR uptime and incident resolution impacting patient care
- Serve as the senior escalation point for EMR-related incidents, coordinating with vendors and clinical staff
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems in a healthcare IT or MSP environment
- Proven leadership experience managing technical/service delivery staff
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare compliance requirements
- Experience with PSA/ITSM platforms like ConnectWise or ServiceNow
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
