Job Summary

Managing moderately complex Healthcare Professional Liability claims, the full-time Senior Claims Specialist will handle the full claim life cycle for Hospital and Physician Medical Malpractice exposures while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze coverage and settle claims related to Healthcare Professional Liability, focusing on Hospital and Physician claims
• Conduct thorough investigations and analyses to determine claims exposure and recommend settlement strategies
• Negotiate settlements with clients, attorneys, and Public Adjusters while ensuring compliance with client expectations and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related claims experience
• Prior experience in specialty claims or ability to handle unique claims issues
• Appropriately licensed or able to obtain necessary licenses for claims handling
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices related to claims processing
• Experience with claims and business software
