Healthcare Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating licensing activities for home health and hospice services, the part-time Healthcare Licensing Specialist will manage applications, renewals, and compliance documentation while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations, with the possibility of hybrid or remote work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate initial applications, renewals, and amendments for home health and hospice agencies
• Maintain agency licenses and regulatory documentation across multiple states
• Support compliance with CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, and accreditation requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
• 3+ years of healthcare licensing, regulatory, credentialing, or compliance experience preferred
• Home health and/or hospice experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, and state healthcare licensing requirements
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic tracking/database systems
