Key Responsibilities
- Lead legal strategy and provide counsel on payer contracting, reimbursement, and market access matters
- Review, draft, and negotiate complex agreements with private payors and managed care organizations
- Advise on compliance with healthcare laws and develop strategies for reimbursement and appeals
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience in healthcare law, market access, or payer contracting
- Experience negotiating contracts with private payors or managed care organizations
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare reimbursement and coding systems
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable business guidance
