Healthcare Practices General Manager

Job Summary

To build and run its healthcare practices business, the full-time remote Healthcare Practices General Manager will own the sector's strategy, relationships, product priorities, and P&L, ensuring Flex becomes the primary financial institution for healthcare practices.

Key responsibilities

• Own the sector P&L, reporting weekly on the revenue generated from healthcare practices banking with Flex
• Map the sector by identifying key influencers and establishing a coverage plan within 90 days
• Originate relationships and partnerships through networking events, site visits, and referrals to bring owners and firms to Flex

Required qualifications

• 7 to 12 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, private equity, or a senior commercial role within healthcare practices
• An active network in healthcare practices with established connections to key industry figures
• Fluency in practice economics, including payer mix, collections cycles, and the financial dynamics of healthcare practices
• Experience in structuring partnerships and negotiating referral agreements independently
• Proficiency in building financial models and advanced Excel skills related to banking and credit economics
