Healthcare Project Manager

Job Summary

To support healthcare initiatives, the full-time remote Healthcare Project Manager will manage project schedules, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and oversee risk management while ensuring compliance with state governance and project deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and maintain project documentation and schedules, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met
• Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and provide detailed project status reports on a weekly basis
• Manage risks and issues, providing recommendations and ensuring changes are formally accepted through the appropriate channels

Required qualifications

• 8 years of experience in project management
• PMP certification
• Experience in HIPAA and healthcare-related projects
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and PMO processes
• Previous government experience, preferably within a health department
