Job Summary

Managing assigned insurance accounts, the full-time Healthcare Revenue Cycle Collector will focus on aged, high-dollar receivables while working remotely to ensure timely payment resolution and effective claim management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of aged and high-dollar insurance accounts, ensuring timely resolution and payment
• Conduct thorough research on unpaid and denied claims to identify root causes and determine appropriate recovery pathways
• Communicate with payers and maintain detailed documentation of account activities, follow-up actions, and next steps

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare insurance collections or accounts receivable follow-up
• Strong knowledge of commercial and government payer processes, including denial and underpayment resolution
• Experience with corrected claims, appeals, and payer escalation pathways
• Ability to interpret EOBs, ERAs, and payer correspondence effectively
• Experience in infusion or specialty medication billing and collections is preferred
