Job Summary
Directing operational, financial, and personnel activities within the Patient Accounts department, the temporary Healthcare Revenue Cycle Leader will engage multiple disciplines to achieve performance targets while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop long-range strategies for access planning and management in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Direct and monitor department functions, including billing, credit and collections, and insurance operations
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws regarding billing and collection practices while identifying areas for improvement through performance metrics
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare revenue cycle management
- Prior experience as VP or Director of Revenue Cycle in a hospital or health system
- Proven success in interim or consulting roles preferred
- Deep knowledge of Epic, Cerner, or other major EHR systems
- Strong analytical and change management skills
