HEIA Technical Content Writer

Job Summary

To support health equity initiatives, the full-time remote HEIA Technical Content Writer will draft comprehensive Health Equity Impact Assessment reports by analyzing data, synthesizing stakeholder input, and ensuring compliance with state guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and structure detailed reports, including executive summaries and findings, while adhering to specified word limits and formatting requirements
• Analyze data and findings to create clear narratives that reflect the impact on medically underserved groups and incorporate relevant health equity principles
• Engage with stakeholders and synthesize their input into reports, ensuring accurate representation of community perspectives and compliance with healthcare terminology

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or Journalism
• Experience in healthcare technical writing
• Demonstrated expertise in health equity, anti-racism, and stakeholder engagement
• Strong understanding of healthcare terminology and data interpretation
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to shifting priorities while working independently and collaboratively
