High School Math Tutor
Job Summary
To support personalized learning, the part-time Remote High School Math Tutor will deliver one-on-one online lessons in subjects such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, and Geometry, while customizing content based on individual student needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one online math lessons aligned with the CCSS framework for high school students
- Prepare and customize lesson content based on individual student needs to ensure high-quality instruction
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Education, or related fields
- Prior math teaching experience in middle school or high school is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, and Geometry curriculum
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
