HIM Application Analyst
Job Summary
The full-time HIM Application Analyst will work remotely to manage and support integrated system solutions, providing ongoing maintenance and evaluating new technologies related to Health Information Management applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between technical staff and the HIM department, ensuring smooth operation of applications like Oracle/Cerner and Meditech Abstracting
- Identify and resolve system errors, implement software upgrades, and coordinate resources for effective system performance
- Participate in and lead application projects, documenting and communicating issues while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification in Oracle/Cerner HIM module
- RHIA or RHIT certification preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Information Systems within a healthcare setting
- Significant experience in implementing and supporting healthcare applications
