HIM Document Analyst

Job Summary

To ensure accuracy and compliance in patient documentation, the full-time HIM Document Analyst will review medical records for completeness, perform quantitative analysis, and assist healthcare providers in completing documentation, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviews records for missing documents, signatures, and required text
• Performs quantitative analysis to ensure complete documentation
• Assigns deficiencies to the appropriate medical staff for completion

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Two to five years of relevant experience required
• At least one year, preferably two, in an acute care setting with responsibility for documentation requirements
• Demonstrated competency in all areas of Medical Records
• Experience with electronic patient record systems preferred
