HL7 v2 Interface Analyst
Job Summary
Maintaining the legacy HL7 v2 interfaces of a health data exchange platform, the remote HL7 v2 Interface Analyst will operate and monitor interfaces, manage interface control documents, and resolve message-level issues while transitioning to FHIR R4.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor HL7 v2.4 interfaces, including Z-segments, over MLLP and HTTP-wrapped transports
- Baseline and maintain interface control documents for every connected partner
- Triage message failures and partner-side changes, ensuring issues are resolved to closure
Required qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience operating HL7 v2 interfaces in a production healthcare environment
- Experience with a production interface engine (e.g., Rhapsody, Mirth, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to write or maintain interface control documents
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance
- Experience with 24x7 operations or on-call support
