HMS Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the HIE Medicaid Services program, the remote HMS Analyst will implement and enhance Medicaid data exchange services, focusing on improving health-related social needs data capture and coordinating cross-team activities.
Key responsibilities
- Translate program and partner needs into technical and workflow requirements for Medicaid data exchange
- Coordinate cross-team activities to enhance data quality and interoperability, ensuring accurate and secure data connections
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and guide testing and onboarding processes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, analytics, and EHR operations
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and healthcare reporting
- Experience in requirements documentation, process analysis, and solution design
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical partners
