Home Based Marketing and Communications Director

Job Summary

A provider of special needs sporting events is filling a position for a Home Based Marketing and Communications Director.

Must be able to:

• Provide ongoing marketing and communications training and support to all company programs
• Provide strategic direction and counsel to company leadership on all marketing and communications related matters
• Provide marketing and communications guidance and/or oversight of regional company events

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelors degree (or higher) in communications, journalism, English, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of advanced marketing and communications experience in non-profit, for-profit or events-based environment
• Able to work independently, work under pressure, and in fluid work environment
• Track record of designing, implementing and managing complex multi-level, simultaneous communications and marketing programs
• Demonstrable experience of positioning an organization to achieve tangible outcomes
• Detail orientated and strong organizational skills
