Home Health Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end billing process for Home Health, Hospice, and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) claims, the fully remote Home Health Billing Specialist will handle claim preparation, submission, accounts receivable follow-up, and cash posting, requiring solid experience in billing and AR.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle billing for Home Health, Hospice, and SNF claims, ensuring accurate claim generation and submission through the Vision system
• Proactively manage accounts receivable aging, contacting payers to resolve outstanding claims and expedite payments
• Accurately post cash receipts and reconcile cash posting activity against remittance advices and bank deposits

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of full cycle billing and accounts receivable experience in Home Health, Hospice, and/or SNF settings
• Direct, hands-on experience with the Vision billing system
• Strong cash posting experience, including both manual and electronic payment application
• Working knowledge of Medicare Part A billing, PDGM, and SNF consolidated billing rules
• Familiarity with UB-04 claim forms and revenue cycle workflows for post-acute care
