Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a remote team, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the processing of medical claims with a focus on accuracy and timeliness to reduce denial rates and bad debt.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and submit medical, pharmacy, and third-party vendor claims accurately and on time
• Resolve rejected electronic claims to ensure successful future submissions
• Document case activity and maintain billing tickets for effective communication within the revenue cycle management team

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and systems for various payer types
• Experience in an infusion suite setting is a plus
• Detail-oriented with experience in post-billing and post-payment investigations preferred
