Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance revenue collection efforts, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage claims for home infusion services, focusing on accuracy and timeliness while reducing denial rates and bad debt in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and follow up on outstanding claims with insurers and patients to ensure successful revenue collection
• Analyze denial trends and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Document all case activities and communications in the system to maintain accurate records of outstanding claims

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and techniques for various payer types
• Strong organizational skills to maintain clear records of activities and documentation
• Experience in a remote work environment is preferred
