Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Home Infusion Billing Specialist will process medical claims with a focus on accuracy and timeliness, aiming to reduce denial rates and bad debt while adhering to compliance standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and submit medical, pharmacy, and third-party vendor claims accurately and on time
• Resolve rejected electronic claims to ensure successful future submissions
• Document case activity and contribute to training materials to enhance the efficiency of the revenue cycle management team

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of home infusion billing and/or collections experience
• High School Diploma with specialized training in medical billing or collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and payer types
• Experience in an infusion suite setting is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office suite and pharmacy applications
