Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Home Infusion Billing Specialist will process medical claims with a focus on accuracy and timeliness, aiming to reduce denial rates and bad debt while ensuring compliance with billing practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and submit medical, pharmacy, and third-party vendor claims accurately and promptly
• Resolve rejected electronic claims to ensure successful future submissions
• Document case activity and communications in CareTend to maintain accurate account records

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing or collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and techniques across various payer types
• Experience in an infusion suite setting is a plus
• Detail-oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience preferred
