Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Focusing on accuracy and timeliness, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the collection of Home Infusion claims remotely, aiming to reduce denial rates and improve overall collection efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to collect revenues, utilizing Payer Portals for claim disposition
• Analyze denial trends, recommend process improvements, and submit appeals in accordance with payer requirements
• Document case activities and communicate effectively with franchise partners to resolve collection issues in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of home infusion billing and/or collections experience required
• High School Diploma with additional specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and/or collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and techniques across various payer types
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain complete records of activities and documentation
• Experience in a remote work environment is a plus
